What is a Full Service Wedding Planner?

A full service wedding planner is someone who is with you from the very beginning of your wedding planning journey. For couples that don’t want to deal with the 400-500+ hours of wedding planning, and want to sit back, relax, and enjoy that once in a life-time engagement period while someone else deals with the stress that comes with planning the biggest party of your lifetime!

With a full planner, we oversee every last detail, down to the thread count of your napkins, while you and your partner enjoy being engaged while having no doubt that your wedding day will be executed flawlessly!

What is Wedding Management?

The Wedding Management package is designed for couples who want to take charge of planning their wedding but recognize the importance of professional support in the weeks leading up, and especially on the big day. This package begins approximately three-four months before your wedding and includes three planning meetings, along with assistance during the final weeks leading up to your event. A key element of this package is the creation of a detailed timeline and communicating that with your vendors, which will be developed as soon as you sign on. I also attend all final planning meetings you have with your vendors in the last few weeks.

If required, on-site visits to unfamiliar venues or private properties must be arranged to ensure I am prepared and super familiar with your wedding day landscape!

What is Partial Planning?

Partial Wedding Planning is a service designed for couples who want to plan parts of their wedding themselves but need professional guidance to handle specific aspects. It’s perfect for those who have a good vision of their day but could use expert help to fill in the gaps and ensure everything comes together smoothly.

With partial planning, you might already have booked your venue, chosen some vendors, or even started organizing the guest list, but you need assistance with logistics, timelines, or final details. This service allows you to get hands-on where you feel comfortable, while still benefiting from the expertise of a professional wedding planner to oversee crucial elements like vendor coordination, décor refinement, or troubleshooting last-minute issues.

We’ll work together, ensuring that your big day is cohesive, stress-free, and memorable without you needing to handle everything on your own in the months leading up.

Do You Support the LGBTQ2S+ Community?

Love is Love. ‘nuff said.

When is the Best Time To Hire You?

For a full planning package, it is best to get in contact at the beginning of your wedding planning journey!

For a month of coordination package, I would advise getting into contact at least 6 months before to secure your date, but I will accept a booking from at least 10 weeks before your wedding day.

Essentially, earlier is better for any package so I can fully be immersed in your vision and understand you and your partner’s wedding day like the back of my hand!

Where Are You Located and Where Do You Service?

I am located in Ottawa and will travel anywhere a car, bus, train, and plane will take me!

I would be beyond thrilled to travel and it would be an honour to plan your destination wedding. Please note that additional fees will be incurred for travel, hotel costs, time, additional adjustment days, etc… Visit my Contact page so we can get chatting and get started on a custom quote.

How Do I Secure My Date?

Once you have your FREE consultation meeting with me and decide I’m your gal for whichever package you choose (spoiler, I definitely am!), a 50% non refundable deposit is required to have my services rendered. The remaining 50% will be due 2 weeks before your wedding day.

What If You Are Sick or Have An Emergency On My Wedding Day?

This has not happened to me yet, and I don’t plan on it! BUT if it did (it won’t) a replacement coordinator will be assigned to your day, who knows the day just as well as I do. If permitted, I will also be in contact with them the entire day, wherever I may be during an emergency or sickness.

Do I Need a Planner Even If My Venue Has a Coordinator?

YES! A venue coordinator is there to coordinate your event on behalf of that venue. They will take care of the details surrounding the space (eg: cleanliness, chairs/tables are where you want them, food and beverage contract is being followed, if provided by venue, etc…). A Wedding coordinator is there on behalf of YOU as the couple. I work for the bride and groom, and the bride and groom only. A wedding planner/coordinator will be responsible for the following during wedding week and day that the venue coordinator likely won’t oversee:

  • Finalize the personalized timeline and confirm all vendors

  • Run the ceremony rehearsal

  • Direct the ceremony processional

  • Set up all decor and personal items including menus, programs, escort cards, guest book, favors DIY items, etc.

  • Bouquets and boutonnieres are where they need to be

  • Assist with wedding photos and photography shot list

  • Act as the point of contact for all vendors.

  • Assist the wedding party and guests as needed

  • Distribute final payment and gratuity to vendors

  • Provide a fully stocked emergency kit

  • Deal with any unforeseen problems that may arise

  • Manage the timing of the entire event to ensure the day runs smoothly.
